Assalamualaiakum dan salam sejahtera.
It has been a while for me for not updating this blog. Sorry guys. Hectic life; assignments, debate etc. Well, that’s life. You can’t complain about it. You just need to go through it and let it be.
Update about my life:
Last semester I participated in Debat Perdana Integriti in Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), together with Pijat, Bo’ and Yoges. It is a new combination and on paper, we are nothing compared to other teams. Alhamdulillah, we managed to be ranked in the second ranking after Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) who successfully won all 6 prelims. We made it to the final after winning over Universiti Malaya (UM) during the quarter final and Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP-the bogey team) in the semi final.
However, we have been defeated by UPM during the final (7-0, what a surprise!!) yet we do realize our mistake/s and I am not performed well during the final. Sorry guys. Nevertheless, it is a good achievement for all of us because for me personally, I am seldom being in the final. My first final is Debat Alam Sekitar 2008 in UMS (too). For Pijat and Bo’, they have never been given the chance to debate during the final and it is their first time (maybe there will be more chances for them). Yoges, it is her first time in this tournament and she is bringing the momentum of being the Champion of Debat Terbuka ASTAR 2010.
To coaches, sorry because we failed to clinch the title of champion in this debate. At least, we are in the right track for being in the final for all tournaments for 2010, they are; Debat Kefahaman Islam, Debat Terbuka ASTAR, Pertandingan Pidato Antarabangsa Bahasa Melayu, Kenyalang Open,Debat Glokal and Pertandingan Pidato Naib Canselor UPM (Junior and Senior Category). Alhamdulillah. May Allah bless our family (Kelab Debat Bahasa Melayu-KDBM UIAM).
Footnote 1: I am not that good to edit those pictures, it really depends on my creativity. Huhuhu..
Footnote 2: Good luck to IIUMs' team for Arau Open: Zur, Muiz, Sabila, Firdaus, Ju, Muryam, Syazwan & Asma'. May the force be with you.
