Cherita Anak Siapa?

Assalamualaikum dan salam sejahtera.

That day Pojie asked me to help him for his theatre, named as Cherita Anak Siapa? By Ombak Jahat Production. Actually he only asked me to read the prologue, however due to some problems, he asked me to replace his position to read the Nazam, at the end of the play. I was quite nervous because I don’t know how to read that Nazam,if it is syair, I am a bit confident because I know the melody but for nazam, it is a new thing for me. However, I have downloaded Prof Lim Swee Tin’s nazam from Youtube and learned the melody from that video.

Alhamdulillah, everything went very well. The play managed to get the Best Screenplay, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress and became the champion for the English Theatre Week of 2010. Thank you to Pojie, Tengku Haris and others for giving me such opportunity. I know that I am only a ‘pelengkap’ to the team, but I’m proud with all of you.

I am also honoured because the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Dato’ Saifuddin Abdullah and his wife, Datin Norlin Shamsul Bahri went to watch the play. After the play, we went for late dinner/supper together with Syazwan and Fakhrul at Wahab’s Cendol, Sri Rampai.

A few days later we went to KLCC to have lunch together. The gang consists of Dato’, Datin, Abg Daud, Syazwan, Kajol. I and Fakhrul are the new members of this ‘geng makan-makan’. Thank you Dato’ & Datin for the great lunch/tea.
